Hi and welcome! I'm Elle Trusz, an experienced research administrator with concentrations in nonprofit management, board development, and financial oversight.
Proven commitment to justice, equity, and inclusion.
I incorporate my values in all areas of my work and life, through dedication to anti-racist practices, gender equity, LGBTQ+ inclusion, accessibility accountability, and meaningful representation of historically excluded populations.
Over many years, I grew beyond the title of "ally" and my goal is to consistently demonstrate that I am instead an accomplice. It is important to me to recognize my privileges and to utilize them to help others. Through my work and studies, I developed skills to help communities by first asking individuals about their needs, and then to offer my assistance in achieving their goals.
Community Leadership (CLDR) is an interdisciplinary program that prepares leaders with the skills and experience needed to generate transformative social change.
Some of my relevant courses include:
CLDR 602: Legal and Ethical Issues in Community Leadership
